News: PaperThin's 'On the Spot' Newsletter Features Digital Division's Web Design and Development Work for the Endocrine Society - April 2009

Digital Divison's extensive work on the Endocrine Society's Web site was recently featured in the PaperThin newsletter. In 2008, Digital Division completely redesigned and redeveloped their extensive Web site of more than 12,000 pages.

The Web site is based on PaperThin's powerful CommonSpot content management system (CMS). PaperThin describes the resulting Web site as "a visually beautiful site that is fully optimized for performance."

Digital Division continues to work with the Endocrine Society to provide regular improvements to its expanding Web site at www.Endo-Society.org.

News: The Association of Corporate Counsel Contracts Digital Division to Maintain Its Extensive Internet Presence - May 2009

The Association of Corporate Counsel (ACC), the bar association for in-house counsel, recently contracted Digital Division as its Web vendor to update and maintain its extensive Internet presence. ACC's Web site (ACC.com) is made up of more than 5,000 pages and several micro-sites, a password-protected members-only area, a popular job search database, and more. The Web site also uses enterprise-level technologies like a Google Search Applicance and the CommonSpot content management system (CMS).

ACC hired Digital Division based on our company's reputation as a reliable and skilled Web vendor, our extensive experience working with large associations like theirs, and our partnership with PaperThin, the makers of the CommonSpot CMS.

Our work with ACC will include a wide range of projects, from creating a new, user-driven document resource center for their members to improving their Web site's visibility in search engines. Digital Division looks forward to successfully completing these projects, and will strive to continue to improve ACC's Web presence for years to come.

News: Digital Division Is Contracted to Design New Hormone Assays Web Site - June 2009

Digital Division's talented designers are working with the Endocrine Society to build a fresh new Web site for the Society's Hormone Assays initiative. The fresh new design will be highly usable for both doctors and patients and feature updated colors and artwork.

Once the design is completed, Digital Division will code ColdFusion Web templates that work with the powerful CommonSpot content management system (CMS), so that the new Web site can be updated from anywhere by Endocrince Society program staff.

Our firm has a positive history of successful Web design projects for the Endocrine Society, including creating the Society's main Web site at endo-society.org, three new designs for the ENDO Annual Conference Web site, and the original design for the organization's Obesity In America online portal.

News: Interactive Map for the National Resource Center on Charter School Finance & Governance Gets Fresh Updates - June 2009

In 2008, Digital Division created an interactive map and research tool to help key state decision makers and opinion leaders consider how tobacco Master Settlement Agreement (MSA) revenues can support youth initiatives, including health education and smoking prevention.

Based on the incredible usefulness of this tool, Digital Division was tasked with programming additional features for 2009. In June, Digital Division made a fresh round of updates to this powerful interactive tool, by adding the most recent financial data, upgrading map data, and updating dynamic factsheets by year and U.S. state.

This Web-based research tool automatically generates Flash maps, charts, and statistics directly from an online database. The database is managed by the Center's program staff using a custom ColdFusion powered content management system (CMS) that was also created by Digital Division
